You might be old if...

This is a list of things that have happened to me or happen to me on a regular basis that make me feel old.

You might be old if...

You can not fully straighten your legs when you've been kneeling on them for any length of time.

You have to brace yourself on your thigh to get up from the floor because your knees just are not strong enough to do it on their own anymore.

You realize your back experiences severe pain when you put your shoes on the morning after you cleaned the toy closet.

Your legs hurt for days after volunteering in the church nursery because of all the "squats" you did picking up children (even if it was two at a time.)

Your 5 year old, who has never seen a world map before, can beat your score in a map game after playing a few times.

You get the references to old ketchup commercials, "Good things come to those who wait." Thank goodness for plastic bottles and their amazing squeeze action!

The boy band you liked as a kid goes on a reunion tour.

Retro styles look quite a bit like what you dressed in when you were a kid.

You consider tooth whitening products even though you don't drink coffee or tea.

You know gray hairs are thicker and more course than regular hairs because you see them on your head daily.

Your husband tells you your new hair cut "doesn't make you look older. It says, 'I am my age and I can still look hot.'" and he considers it a compliment.

You realize you butt now extends down where the top of your legs used to be.

You realize it's been 10 years since you graduated............COLLEGE.

You see toys you played with as a kid in the American History Museum.

You didn't even know people "speak IM" until you saw it in a movie and even then you had a hard time keeping up with what they were saying.

The AARP has started sending you mailings.

You actually pay people money each month in case you die and think it's a wise investment.

I'm sure there are more, but my memory is not what it used to be...
