This morning Ryan came running down to the family room "buck n*cked" with socks in his hand shouting, "Mom! I need my long sleeve Cars shirt, Cars underwear and white pants (what he calls khaki pants no matter how many times I correct him) or jeans! I have socks." Of course since I am sitting on the computer trying to finish Lily's birthday post (I know, I know) that I've been trying to do since her birthday I tell him to pick something out of his drawer. With a very disheartened look on his face he sighs, "But then Ryan won't think it's cool." [He is referring to one of his best buddies who we are going to see tonight. It gets quite confusing when our families hang out, but they love each other and I love his mom.] The look on his face forced the loving mom that would do anything for her beloved children that resides deep with in me to come out. After a joint trip upstairs to search 2 baskets of clean clothes he is wearing his desired outfit and everyone is happy. I even put one of the baskets of clothes away!
