Ryan, holding a broom on the porch, "I think there's dirt up ahead."
---------------
Zach, downstairs, whines, "Ryan! Stop it!" pause "Grrr."
Ryan, crying, comes up to me, "He took the stick."
Mommy, "He took what stick?"
Ryan, "The brown one."
Mommy, trying to figure out what he is talking about, "What is the stick used for?"
Ryan, "The stick is used for not hitting Zachary."

RE: Christina's comment about Ryan pictures on the last post
Ryan has not wanted his pictures taken lately. When I get the camera out he starts saying "No. I'm not gonna smile!" and runs away. You'd think I tortured him with endless photo sessions his whole childhood or something ;-)
Here are a couple of pictures of Ryan playing our latest game. I like to call it 'Chase Ryan with a camera to get pictures of him laughing histerically and darting away' Maybe that's too long a title?

I Can Do It!
It appears my fiercely independent son, who has known how to use the potty for over a year, was waiting to be able to do it all (except clean up) himself before he really got serious about using the potty. He has been doing a great job. He even wore underwear for his nap yesterday and stayed dry. Mommy is so proud!
