I am blue and green today!
No kidding, I am blue and green(and of course my oh so pale shade of white) today because I'm painting a mural in Zach's room. I'll let you know how it turns out. If it turns out well I'll even post a picture. Christina-you may be relieved to know that I'm copying another artist. I'm going to try to make it resemble a scene from Finding Nemo. Not any particular scene, just a basic under the sea sort of thing with some fish that hopefully will resemble Nemo and some of the others. It's going to be in Zach's bedroom though, so I don't think anyone will care. I'm going with a Nemo theme because Zach has a Nemo bed set and I'm hoping that he won't outgrow Nemo for a while.

Frustrating
Okay, I tried to post earlier this afternoon and it didn't post and I lost what I had written. I checked back and still no post. So, I write another very similar post and the first one from today finally posts, and now I have to delete the first post. This is no short task for someone with dial up who has to wait for each page to load. You people with broad band have no idea how good you have it! Plus for some reason the picture I posted of Ryan posted sideways and I had to fix that too....more waiting! grrr.
For Jay
This post is for Jay because he has nothing to do today. I have done lots today. I cleaned the bath toys, the jets in the tub and the kitchen. I did several loads of laundry and put lots of laundry away. It seems like I've been cleaning for most of the day. I did watch a little TV this morning because I was in a zombie-like state from being up with the sick, sad baby for 3 hours in the wee hours of the morning. I also took some time to play with Ryan, I even snapped a few pictures. Ryan's accomplishments now include successfully placing the circle, oval, star, pentagon and semi-circle in their respective holes(at least once). Yea, Ryan!
I know where this goes!

Feeling Better
The sun is out, the sky is blue and I am feeling much better than I have been. After a muggy, dark yucky weekend the weather seems great today. This along with letting go of some stressors from the weekend have done wonders for my mood. I have decided to "give it to God" so to speak. Ever since Saturday I have been going over the accident in my head again and again. Trying to figure out exactly what happened, could it be my fault, did I do everything I could to be safe, do I remember what happened correctly, what will the insurance company say, will we be able to get the car fixed, what about that couple, are they going to make trouble for us, are they going to have undue hardship because of me? The list of questions I've been asking myself is endless. I've decided that I am going to give my worries to God and trust that he will work this out and take care of us. It's been hard not to take it back and think about it, but I'm doing a pretty good job so far. If I start thinking about it I just start singing one of the Sunday school songs from the toddlers sing CD we borrowed from the library. Then that gets going in my head(they are quite catchy) and it makes me feel better. I'm looking forward to getting away for a while. It will be nice to relax with the family.

My Weekend? One word...Sucked!
As you all know Friday night I was up into the wee hours of the morning for no good reason. I just couldn't sleep. Of course this was a night Ryan slept beautifully(8:30PM-8:15AM). Last night I figured I would get lots of great sleep because I was exhausted and had not felt well all day...of course not. Ryan got up 7 times! 7 TIMES! I don't know if it because of the runny nose or the new room. We just switched Zach and Ryan's rooms yesterday, so I don't know if he's feeling unfamiliar with his new surroundings and needs to feel comforted or if he just feels yucky. The rest of the weekend pretty much reflects the same theme...things did not go as I had expected or planned. Saturday morning I was full of energy ready to run some errands and then get to work getting the house ready for visitors. I did not expect that while I was out running errands I would get hit in the parking lot. This pretty much put a damper on the rest of the weekend and I did not get much done. Sunday was no better...I didn't expect to have a headache and stomach ache all day. I had expected to be able to make up for Saturday's lack of cleaning Sunday, nope. So, it was an unexpected weekend to say the least.
